Satellite Internet System - Experience  High Speed Broadband Internet

Now you can enjoy the benefits of fast internet with a satellite internet system.

Living in the country has a lot going for it. But high speed internet isn’t one of those things. The high cost of installing the necessary infrastructure to support Cable internet or DSL means that rural areas are often left out of these services. That left dial-up internet which is definitely not high speed. But with the increasing availability of a satellite internet system, high speed internet has arrived in the country.

Satellite internet uses orbiting satellites in space to deliver broadband internet to millions of rural dwellers who would otherwise be left without a fast internet service. And it’s all without either DSL or Cable.

Possibly the only drawback to rural satellite internet is the cost. Although it is more expensive than the other types of rural area high speed internet services, it is affordable.

When you check into satellite, you will discover that there are two basic systems available. These are referred to as one way and two way systems.

A one way system makes use of the traditional dial-up modem. You will have fewer issues when using one way, in terms of latency and weather related problems. Your download speeds will generally range from 400 Kb and 1.5 Mb per second, a lot faster than dial-up but slower than with a two way system. This is reflected in the cost, with a one way system being cheaper than a two way system.

But with a two way system, you won’t need the modem, so you will be able to access the internet more quickly – no waiting for the modem to connect. And you’ll get faster downloading speeds.

So which service is best? That will depend upon your needs and how much you are prepared to pay. Whether you opt for one way or two way, internet service providers offer a number of plans for either type.

The bottom line is that for the cheapest satellite internet, a one way system may be your best option. You will also have the option of doing the installation yourself, something that is not possible with a two way system. Your monthly cost will vary and will depend upon the plan you choose and the length of the contract.

Don’t put up with dial-up any longer. With a satellite internet system you can enjoy the high speed experience at an affordable price.
